Donald A. Rausch, 92, of Huron, died Sunday, April 18,2021, at his residence.

He was born April 9, 1929, in Sandusky, and was a 1948 graduate of Sandusky High School. He was employed for 32 years at Clevite Elastomers in Milan, retiring in 1994. He owned Don's Kart Shop and his lifelong interests included auto racing and auto mechanics. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Vermilion; Huron Eagles; and Milan Post Card Club.

Don is survived by his son Jamie (Leah) Rausch of Huron;  two grandsons Jeremy (Amanda) Rausch of Norwalk and Josh (Kim) Rausch of Sandusky; and  sister Mary Ann Failor of Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by his wife Effa Schwinn Rausch in 2009; his parents; and his son Jerry Rausch in 1976.

It was his wish to be cremated and a graveside memorial service will be held in Castalia Cemetery.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
