Denny Joe Kiser, born on March 16, 1945, in Coeburn, VA, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Cleveland.  He was 80 years old.

Denny led a life marked by dedication to his work and devotion to his family.  He built a long and respected career as a certified electrician, retiring from Routh Packing after years of service.  His strong work ethic extended far beyond his professional life—he was known for being a jack of all trades and always having a project underway.  He took great pride in remodeling homes for his wife, daughter, and grandchildren.

A man who found joy in the outdoors, Denny loved spending time by the water and embraced any opportunity to be outside.  Whether working with his hands or simply enjoying nature's peace, he found fulfillment in staying active and engaged.  One of his greatest pleasures was watching his great-grandson play ball—a pastime that brought him immense happiness and pride.

Denny is survived by his beloved wife, Lona Kiser; granddaughter Megan (Will White) Ackerman; grandson Josh (Bree) Ackerman; great-grandsons Wyatt White and Abram Ackerman; and brothers Jerry (Mary) Kiser, and Mack (Sandi) Kiser.

Denny will be remembered for his tireless spirit, love of family, and unwavering commitment to those he held dear.  May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Andrea Kiser; parents Cecil and Ardelia (Gouge) Kiser; and brother Landon (Joan) Kiser.

At the request of Denny, no services will be held at this time.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
