David "Bird" Fecik, Jr., 57, of Crystal Rock, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 1, 1962, in Sandusky, and was a 1981 graduate of Margaretta High School and EHOVE. He was employed by Decko Products and was a handyman to everyone. He loved fishing and cooking.

David is survived by his daughters Hope Griffin-Kaman and Nicole Fecik; son Nicholas Fecik; grandson Zaiden David Griffin; mother Betty Lou (McCoy) Fecik; two sisters Tana Marie (Brian) Ritchey and Cynthia Stevens; niece Ashley Lynn Morgan; and nephew Leonard Stevens.

He was preceded in death by his father David Fecik, Sr.

Friends may call from 5-7 pm Sunday, Aug. 18, in the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where services will be held at 10 am Mon., Aug. 19. Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
