Darrel G. Ring, age 58, of Georgetown, OH, and formerly of Sandusky, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 16, 2016, in Mercy Hospital, Batavia.

He was born Aug. 17, 1957, in Wise, VA, and was employed by Union Chain for many years.

Darrel is survived by his daughter Heather (Josiah) Plymesser; sons Joseph (April) Ring and Josh (Kayla) Ring; 9 grandchildren; 4 sisters Shelva Mullins, Sherry (Antonio) Bender, Sharon (Renard) Williams, and Elizabeth (Ray Myers) Griffin; one brother Rick (Tracey) Ring; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Melba Ring, brother James Ring; and brother in-law Eddie Mullins.

Friends may call from 9-11 am Sat., Aug. 20, 2016, in the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where services will be at 11:00 am Saturday. Pastor Garry Sorrell will officiate and burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
