Dale L. Rice, age 69, of Fremont, died Monday afternoon, February 24, 2020, at the Toledo Hospital.

He was born February 11, 1951, in Sandusky, and attended Margaretta High School.  He worked for Browning Ferris Industries, American Auto Sales, and most recently at Berry Plastics, as a tow motor operator.  Dale loved to watch movies and baseball; and he also liked playing cards.

He is survived by his wife Denise (Vroman) Rice; daughter Amy Rice; son Joseph (Sanjuanita) Rice; five grandchildren; sister Bonnie Keegan; brother George Rice; sister in-law Rhonda Rice; and several nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Charlotte (Wieber) Rice; sister Kris Wood; and brother Michael Rice.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020, from 5-7 PM at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.
