Curtis James Jason Gibbs, age 44, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly Sunday evening, July 29, 2018, in Bellevue.

He was born January 17, 1974, in Sandusky, and attended Bellevue High School.  He was a member of the Assembly of God, Bellevue.

He is survived by his parents Roy and Kathryn (Teasley) Gibbs; son Curtis J.J. Gibbs; two daughters Emily Ann Gibbs and Cassandra Lynn Gibbs; granddaughter Isabella Ann Gibbs; two sisters Rochell Gibbs and Chandra Hammons; two brothers Everett Joshua Lee Lawson and Richard McClanahan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Curtis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Cecil and Hazel Clem; paternal grandparents Roy and Lucy Gibbs.

Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018, and from 11 AM until time of services at 12 Noon, Friday, August 3, 2018, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Pastor John Ginty will officiate.   Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery, Bellevue, at a later date.
