Craig M. Purkeypile, Sr., 42, of Castalia, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 2, 1974 in Sandusky, and was a 1993 graduate of Margaretta and EHOVE.

He is survived by his wife the former Nicole Resor; 2 daughters Jolene and Tara Purkeypile; 2 sons Craig, Jr. and Dalton Purkeypile; brother Curtis Purkeypile; sister Judy Garden; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Linda (McKillips) Purkeypile; his paternal grandparents Walter and Audrey Purkeypile; and his maternal grandparents Melborne and Elizabeth McKillips.

At the request of the family, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, in Faith Memorial Assembly of God, 1320  E. Strub Road, Sandusky. Pastor Kenneth Hiser will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH.
