Carrie Sue Minier VICKERY: Carrie Sue Minier. age 73, of Vickery, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, in the Stein Hospice Care Center. She was born June 19, 1939, in Sandusky, and was a 1957 graduate of Townsend High School. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, and the Whites Landing Fire Department. Sue is survived by two daughters Brenda Smith of Clyde, and Becky Minier of Vickery; one son Jeff (Sherrie) Minier of Vickery; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister Mary (Eugene) Knowlton of Seattle, WA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson "Barney" Minier in 1987; her parents Howard and Mary Anna Parkhurst; and son Stephen Minier. Friends may call from 10:00 AM Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, until time of services at 11:00 AM in Grace Lutheran Church, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia. The Rev. Kathleen Suggitt will officiate and burial will follow in Parkhurst Cemetery, Townsend Township.
