Brenda Sue Reece, 76, of Castalia, died Friday, May 13, 2022, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born October 1, 1945, in Paris, KY, and was a member of Wayside Temple in Castalia.

Brenda Sue is survived by one daughter Lori "Sam" Russell of Greenville, SC; 2 sons Ray "Angela" Reece of Marblehead, and John "Laurey Kauffman" Reece of Sandusky; sister Patricia Jones of Norwalk; half-sister Veronica Goble of North Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean Reece in 1998; parents George and Esther (Stacey) Caskey; 2 sisters Edna and Carol; and 4 brothers James, George, Jr., Oreal, and Arnold Caskey.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in Bloomingville Cemetery, Mason Road, Oxford Township, Sandusky. Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate. Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.
