Beverly Ann "Fredrick" Bunting, age 73, of Castalia, died Thursday morning, Sept. 20, 2018, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 30, 1945, in Vincennes, IN, and was a 1963 graduate of Margaretta High School. She was employed by Sears and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Milan.

Bev is survived by her husband Donald, to whom she was married for 57 years; 3 daughters Sheila (Rick) Boos, Sherri (Scott) Halladay, and Deborah (Mike) Arthur; one son James (Deborah) Bunting; her mother Dorothy (Donovan) Fredrick Snyder; 7 grandchildren Merideth Boos, Kristen Boos, Sean Halladay, Shannah Halladay, Seth Halladay, Whitney Bunting, and Matthew (Hope) Dotson; 4 great grandchildren Matthew, James, and Lucas Dotson, and Carter Bunting; 3 brothers Daniel (Jan) Fredrick, Rick Fredrick, and Jack (Joyce) Fredrick; sisters-in-law Deanna Ostheimer, and Maryalice Fredrick; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Fredrick in 1986; brother Larry Fredrick in 1995, brother-in-law Henry Ostheimer in 2017; and sister-in-law Janis Castle.

Friends may call from 4-8 pm Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH, and from 10 am Sat., Sept 22, until time of services at 11 am.  Chaplain Melvin Salyers will officiate and burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
