Beve "Jr" Hatfield, age 79, of Whites Landing, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 29, 2020, in his residence.

He was born January 6, 1941, in Pigeon Roost, KY, and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sandusky.  Beve worked for Waldocks packing and Smith roofing Co.

He is survived by his wife Sue (Sokolowski) Hatfield; three daughters Angela Bowers, Michelle (James) Meadows, and Laura Gonzales; four sons Anthony Glenn, Terry, Jerry, and Wesley Hatfield; grandchildren Mathew, Melissa (Jeremy Quillen), Destiny, Michaela, Christian, Jessie, Ashley, Justin, Amber, Michael, Harley, Pamela, and Leo; many great grandchildren with one more on the way; siblings Ethel (Gilbert) Roberts, Lona (Russel) Slade, Betty (Gregory) Miniard, Daisy (Ray) Gibbs, J.B. Hatfield, Paul (Becky) Hatfield, J.C. (Lorraine) Hatfield, Pearlie Hatfield, Lucy (Beve) Hicks, John Milton Hatfield, William Hatfield, Tommie Hatfield, Taylor Hatfield, and Roy Hatfield; special brother in-law Edward Sokolowski Jr; sister in-law Carolyn Gibbs; and many nieces and nephews.

Jr was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Lillie (Smith) Hatfield; son William Cooley, daughter Heidi Hatfield, and granddaughter Brittany Blankenship.

Friends may call from 3-7 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
