Becky E. Fitz, age 59, of Castalia, died Sunday evening, February 26, 2017, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 18, 1957, in Port Clinton and graduated in 1975 from Port Clinton High School.  Becky was a long-time employee of GTE Corp and held various jobs during her life.  In her free time, she was an avid bowler; loved animals; and loved to read.  Becky was an extremely loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, whom she married on September 18, 1982, Michael J. Fitz; four daughters Abigail (Ryan) Brunow, Sandusky, Amy Fitz, White's Landing, Annie (Adam) Redman, Sandusky, and Alyssa (Allen Crum) Fitz, Sandusky; two grandchildren; two sisters Leila (Jim) Hembree, Port Clinton, and Margie Guiher, Willard; two brothers James (Debra) McGee, Port Clinton, and Robert (Colleen) McGee, Port Clinton.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents Philip and Vera (Long) McGee.
Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  A private memorial service will be held on Thursday.
