Our hearts go out to Dawn and the family and friends of Bill Bauer as we mourn the loss of an amazing guy - kind, generous, caring. We are fortunate to be able to call him one of our best friends. We have shared great times on the water, spending days at Kelley’s Island, the sand bar, Jimmy Bukkets and Margaritaville, grilling out at the cottage, going out for dinner and drinks, and watching Browns, Cavs, Indians and OSU games together. Wilson Avenue will never be the same, and we will never be the same. Wilson Avenue has lost a true friend that could never be replaced or forgotten. Rest In Peace Bill Bauer. We will miss you. Kathy & Steve

Bill was a beloved friend of us all on Wilson Ave. Every day he faithfully walked his dogs down to the bay. His hunting dog Chase was always with him. He always had a wave, and smile as he walked by. His beloved companion Dawn Mincek is a member of our family and so Bill joined all of our family celebrations at our cottages on Wilson Ave and our homes in Mantua. He will be tremendously missed. Our hearts our breaking.

I am Bill's neighbor of 11 years and just wanted Dawn and the family know they are all in my prayers. Bill was a wonderful caring man who always kept an eye for me and my kids. Always concerned about my special needs son and will be missed terribly

I met Bill while working at Venture Packaging way back in 1989. We were very good friends and shared many great times together; Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Jamaica, white water rafting, and countless concerts and ball games. Bill was always fun and always someone I could count on. My condolences to the family and to Dawn. "Billy Ray" will be dearly missed. - Mike Krafty
