Mayfra (Fike) Binegar

Mayfra Fike Binegar, 85, of Bay View, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on September 20, 2019. May was born on November 22, 1933 in Estill County, Kentucky.

May was preceded in death by the love of her life, the Rev. Virgil L. Binegar; parents Hargis and Dowthula (Dixon) Fike, brothers Delbert, Elmer, Glyndon, Graydon, and Gayle Fike, sisters Beatrice, and Opal Fike, Rachel Kelly, and Thetus Flynn, and grandson Edward “Eddie” Huber. She is survived by  sons Dean (Lena Kay) Flynn, Jerry (Charlotte) Flynn, daughters Cindy (Wayne) Porter, Cora (Mark) Freeh, and Leslie (Warren) Huber, and brothers Garrett (Wilma) Fike, Marcum (Rachel) Fike, and grandchildren Tricia (Doug) Ebner, Lena Marie (Brad) Fuller, Kris (Megan) Flynn, Cory (Amy) Flynn, Jerry Jr. (Jenny) Flynn, Jackie Flynn, Joleen (Juan) Solis, Jessica (Mark) Coulter, Caitlin (Timothy) Tyler, Patrick (Mary) Freeh, Kathleen Anne Freeh, Brett, Ashley May, and  Jacob Huber, and 17  loving great grandchildren and  2 great great grandchildren. She was also loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 4:30-6:30 PM, Monday September 23, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 South Washington St. Castalia, OH 44824, where funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7PM.  Rev. Ryan Brown will officiate. Graveside service and burial will take place Tuesday at Cochran Cemetery in Washington Courthouse, Ohio at 12 noon. Memorial contributions can be made to Bay View Firefighters Association at 304 E.
