Lois M. (Crapsey) Netherland

Lois M. Netherland, age 78, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 18, 2019, at Providence Care Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.

She was born May 3, 1941, in Sandusky, and attended Margaretta Schools. She was a former member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sandusky.

She is survived by two daughters Helen Brownson and Ada (Dave) Oglesby; two sons Larry (Michael) Netherland and Robert Netherland; seven grandchildren including granddaughter Meg (Marius) Netherland, who cared for Lois the last years of her life; seven great grandchildren; sister Alice (George) Litvack; brother Ronnie Crapsey; many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends whom she loved dearly.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Netherland; parents John and Edna (King) Crapsey; two sons Kenny and Johnny Netherland; sisters Elizabeth, Francis and Rosetta; and brothers John, William, Marvin, and Martin.
A celebration of life will be held at on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM followed by a 12 noon graveside service at Castalia Cemetery.
