John E. Hosko, age 55, died Wednesday night, February 14, 2018, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.
He was born August 5, 1962, in Sandusky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1980. John worked for Ventra Sandusky as a forklift operator and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and yardwork; there was nothing that John didn't like to do.
He is survived by his wife Brenda (Glassner) Hosko; son Joshua (Kayla) Gonzales; two daughters Erica (Steven) Hosko, and Katie Hosko; two step daughters Shanna (Edward) Ackerman, Sherry "Buffy" Clay,; two step sons, DJ Clark, and Clayton Clark; 16 grandchildren; sister Linda (John) McGinnes; brother Rick (Sandy) Hosko; special aunt Katie Korenke; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John was preceded in death by his parents Alburn and Geraldine (Grahl) Hosko; and numerous aunts and uncles.
