Clyde E. Culp, age 83, of Castalia, died Thursday morning, November 8, 2018, at Cleveland Clinic, following a brief illness.
He was born January 14, 1935, in Portsmith, OH. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for General Motors for many years. Clyde was an Elder at the Community of Christ Church, Sandusky, and was an avid bowler. He was loving husband, caring father, and he loved being with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by three daughter Cheryl Culp, Vickery, Bonnie Alatta, Sandusky, and Sandra (Steve) Schaefer, Bellevue; son Stephen Culp, Vickery; 10 grandchilren Ashley Culp, Jessie Culp, Samantha Culp, Shawn Culp, Bendar Alatta, Alex Broshious, Joshua Schaefer, Naif Alatta, Noah Alatta, and Leila Alatta; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife Dorene Bosworth Culp; parents Walter and Julia (Chandler) Culp; three sisters Opal, Shirley, and Julia in infancy; and brother Joe.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, November 12, 2018, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 1 PM. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
