Welcome to the memorial page for

Thomas A. Driscoll

December 10, 1947 ~ May 7, 2016 (age 68) 68 Years Old

Thomas Albert Driscoll. age 68, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 7, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 10, 1947, in Warren, OH, to William and Catherine Driscoll. He grew up in Warren, but his best memories of growing up were at Redbrook, near Ashtabula, OH. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Political Science and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. After college, Tom sold office machines in Columbus before moving to Sandusky with his family. He continued in sales for Dietrich Motors and Kasper Automotive before becoming a purchasing agent, traveling to auto auctions in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. More recently, he was employed by Lowes, in the appliance department, where he enjoyed meeting people in the community.

Tom was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, and as a member of the Buckeye Club, he rarely missed a home game. He could tell you every player's name, position, and hometown, where every former Buckeye ended up in the NFL, as well as statistics from long forgotten games.

Tom could fix almost anything and was always willing to help others, He enjoyed woodworking, home remodeling, auto repair, caring for his pets, and more recently gardening.

Tom will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Judith Miller Driscoll, and his much loved children Brian Driscoll of Sandusky, and Meredith Driscoll (Dan Dietrich), of Arlington, VA; 2 sisters Catherine Brown of Warren, OH, and Dorothy (Robert) Smock, of Ashtabula, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother William F. Driscoll; and his brother-in-law William Brown.
