Rose M Bottorff, 76, of Castalia and formerly of Monroeville, died July 4, 2017, in Stein Hospice, Sandusky, Ohio.

Rose worked numerous places in her life, including The Bever-ette, (99 & 113) Monroeville, and she owned and  operated with her husband (Walt) a pet cemetery in Kansas.

She enjoyed genealogy, reading, gardening, and watching old western movies, but she will be especially remembered for her love of goats and dogs.

Although Rose had a rough exterior, once you got to know her, her warmth and love would win you over.  Thus the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” ~ fits Rose perfectly!
