Paula R. Weyer, age 53, of Flatrock, OH, passed away peacefully, December 31, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones following a lengthy illness.

She was born June 5, 1963 in Sandusky, and retired from the maintenance dept of the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.  Paula was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved NASCAR and the Ohio State Buckeyes.  She was a very talented woman and she loved to sew, bake, and do crafts.  Paula also loved her pets Katy, Cocoa, and Maxwell that she rescued from the Humane Society along with many other animals throughout her life. 

She is survived by her son John A. (Sammie) Stein Jr., three grandchildren Landon, Gavin, and Bristol; siblings Kevin (Connie) Weyer, Amanda (Matt) Browne, Art (Melissa) Weyer, Keith (Tracey) Weyer, and Kathy Herman.

Paula was preceded in death by her loving mother Doris Dillery Mariea, loving father Calvin Weyer and loving brother Andy Weyer.

Friends may call Thursday, January 5, 2017, from 11:00 AM until time of services at 12 Noon, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Rev. Kathleen Suggitt will officiate.
