Paul J. Kuzma, age 79, of Castalia, died Wednesday morning, October 25, 2017, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness. 

He was born August 2, 1938, in Marblehead, and graduated from Danbury High School in 1957.  He served in the U.S. Army as a tank crewman and was a member of Wayside Temple, Castalia.  Paul worked for Lakefront Marina as a forklift driver for 15 years. He helped build Davis Besse, and then went to work for them as a security guard.  He was very handy as a carpenter and mechanic. Paul was a guy that could build or fix anything and loved doing it.

He is survived by his wife Shirley (Johnson) Kuzma; three daughters Paula Garrett, MI, Laurie Johnson, Lakeside-Marblehead, and Goldie Anthony, AR; five grandchildren; sister Barb Ann Kuzma; and friend Shay Fleenor.

Paul was preceded in death by his second wife Opal Kuzma, parents John ad Francis (Staynecho) Kuzma; and brother Edward Kuzma.

Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM Monday, October 30, 2017, at Wayside Temple, 3809 Maple Ave., Castalia.  Rev. Rusty Yost will officiate.  Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery, Marblehead.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
