LB Manus, age 81, of Clyde, died Thursday evening, January 25, 2018, at his residence.
He was born September 9, 1936, in Williamsburg, KY, and worked for JH Routh Packing for 47 years as a meat packer. He was a member of the Master’s Hand Church of God, Castalia, where he was a deacon. LB enjoyed coon hunting, being pulled around by his horse in his Amish buggy, and was involved in 4H for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Helen (Adkins) Manus; daughter Debbie Manus; two sons Charles (Robin) Manus and James Manus; 8 grandchildren Lisa, Amber, James LB, Jeremy, Amanda, Jennifer, Jeremy, and Jerry; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; sister Hattie Lambdin; and many nieces and nephews.
LB was preceded in death by his parents James and Sarah Manus; three great grandchildren; and 16 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 6-8 PM Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Master’s Hand Church of God, 7410 Magill Rd., Castalia, where services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018, at 10:00 AM. Pastor Ben Patrick will officiate. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
