CASTALIA — Donna G. Trapp,62, of Castalia, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 11, 1952, in Sandusky, and was a 1971 graduate of Margaretta High School. She was employed at Barr Rubber, Industrial Nut, Prepared Foods, and Autoplas.

Donna is survived by her husband Emmett Trapp; her children Marcus (Misty) Trapp, and Charlotte Trapp; her grandchildren Haley Trapp, Zack and Nick Martinez, Caitlin Ebner, Christopher (Michaela) VanScoy, Alex VanScoy, and Tyler Johnson; her great grandchildren Mia Trapp, Grace and Carter VanScoy; her parents Ned and Myrtle (Sibert) Tucker; three sisters Sandra (Mike) Farmer, Sharon (John Wiseflock) Lippert, and Rhonda (Larry) Kimberlin; two brothers Gary (Marla) Tucker and Greg (Cindy) Tucker; mother-in-law Mary Trapp; and sisters and brothers-in-law Charles and Carol Weider, Ernie Trapp, Gary Ballard, Jeff and Barb Cornwell, Jeff and Vicky Trapp, Randy and Jenny Swartz, Marilyn Tucker, and John Whyde; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Trapp; grandson Kevin Slaughter; sister Margaret Whyde; brother Denver Tucker; father-in-law Ernie Trapp; sister-in-law Debbie Ballard; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bill and Pam Mooney; nephews Jason Tucker, Billy Mooney, Travis and Jimmy Norman.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, in the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St. in Castalia, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30. The Rev. Eugene Smith will officiate and burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
